Give Kids a Smile is a national event that provides free dental care for underserved kids.

Right in our office
GKAS is designed to provide care for underserved kids ages 5 to 12. Our office will also provide comprensive orthodontic treatment (2+ years) to one or two deserving teens.
If you know any kids who can't afford regular dental care, help them contact us!
How to sign up:
Sign up begins April 20! Call our office to schedule your child for an exam and dental care. We can only help a limited number of kids, so don't delay!
Please remember: a legal guardian must accompany your child in order for them to receive treatment!
How to help:
We need your help! Volunteers are needed to corral kids, help with paperwork, provide oral hygiene instruction for kids, and more! If you're available, to work a half-day — or the entire time! — please call us at 918-443-2431.
Our office participated in GKAS in 2004 and 2005. During those years, we provided over $19,000 in free dental care to children in need. For one child, we also provided comprehensive orthodontic care to spread over 18 months. Though we offer low- and no-cost dental care in other ways, we feel that GKAS is an effective way to reach lots of kids, and we’re excited to participate once again.
This year, we plan to screen and treat children aged 12 and younger. We’ll focus on preventive care and treating active decay. The kids will also receive instruction in brushing and flossing, and information to help them access low-cost dental care year-round.
